The Evan Ty Jenkins Pediatric Research Foundation, operating as “Treasure Life,” has set out a number of strategies to meet the Foundation’s many objectives to help cardiac children and their families. Some of these strategies include working with the Stollery Children’s Hospital to help gain public awareness of congential heart disease and bring about changes that will help enhance the care and treatment of cardiac children.
Each year, the Evan Ty Jenkins Pediatric Research Foundation establishes goals for the coming year. For 2014, the Foundation is focusing on:
- Purchasing a vital piece of diagnostic equipment through the University of Alberta Hospital Foundation worth approximately $84,000.00.
Stollery Children’s Hospital
Many cardiac children, like Evan, have spent countless hours in the Stollery Children’s Hospital as they wait or recover from different surgeries and procedures. Ensuring the Stollery can not only maintain – but actually increase – the level of patient care is paramount to the Evan Ty Jenkins Pediatric Research Foundation. Donate Now to show your support!
Treasure Life Bead Program
The Treasure Life Bead Program is one way to help children log their journey. Starting with an anchor, each child will receive a unique bead for the different treatments they receive, with special beads for children in the hospital during the holidays.
