Treasure Bead Program Update: COVID-19 Precautions

As part of the ongoing COVID-19 prevention measures, Treasure Life is temporarily stopping its bead program inside Edmonton’s hospitals.

The change in service means our volunteer Bead Keepers will not be on site to help you, but we encourage you to continue collecting beads and building journey chains. Our hospital carts will remain open for you to use during your child’s appointment.

A reminder if you are utilizing the carts, to please practice proper hand washing before and after taking beads.

If you can’t access the bead carts, try ordering beads online on our website (treasurelife.ca), as many families do from locations throughout Alberta and across Canada.

We’re happy to mail beads to you so that you can continue documenting your child’s medical journey.

We hope to return to the hospitals and full service soon.
